Give this recipe a try to add some fruit and nuts to your salad for a refreshing twist!

 

 

Ingredients

Salad

  • 4 cups mixed spring greens
  • 1 orange, peeled, sectioned and cut into bit-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced celery
  • 1/4 cup sliced red onion
  • 3 tablespoons toasted sliced almonds

 

Dressing

  • 3 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small clove garlic, minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 pinch pepper

Directions

  1. Combine greens, orange, celery, and red onion in a large bowl.
  2. In a small bowl combine dressing ingredients, Whisk until well blended and drizzle over greens. Toss gently.
  3. Sprinkle with toasted almonds and serve immediately.

Serves 4.
